Welcome to Siam Thai Restaurant conveniently located in the Northern Plaza Mall in Glendale, Arizona. Siam Restaurant features authentic Thai cuisine. The owner Soony grew up near the restaurant and would visit often loving the flavors and dishes at a young age. He learned Thai cooking expertise working in the restaurant industry for 20 years. After attending Le Cordon Bleu of Culinary Arts and working at the Four Season Hotel for four years, he decided to buy the family owned restaurant and continue its rich traditions.

Siam Restaurant offers an authentic Thai food with our own homemade recipes passed through generations. Many of our patrons feel the cuisine is the same original Thai taste and spiciness that one would experience in Bangkok, Thailand. Our diverse and flavorful menu, with over 53 items, is designed to suit every palette such as customers who say “no” to spicy or someone who never gets enough of chili. Moreover, we have a variety of vegetarian dishes. One of the important keys to assure the quality of our wonderful food is the use of fresh herbs and spices such as lemon grass, basil, cilantro and kaffir lime leaves.

Siam was the former official name of Thailand, for hundreds of years (1300’s – 1900’s). It wasn’t until May 8, 1939 that the official name of the country changed to Thailand. A disagreement over the name change has resulted in some going back and forth with the official names. The last name change to Thailand occurred in 1947, and so remains to this day.

The reason we chose Siam Cuisine as the name of our restaurant is that most of our recipes have a long history, and were originally created during the Siam age. This is the wonderful Thai-traditional experience we want you to enjoy during your visit.
